Three groups:
True believers: Need to take the next step. In danger of apathy
Intellectually convinced, but have not made a full commitment.
Those attracted to the gospel, but may not be truly convinced about Jesus

Two primarily things necessary in drawing near to God:
Keeping clear in our minds that Jesus is the way to the inner room
Faith -- Simply looking to Jesus. Hebrews 12: 2a Hebrews 3: 1

God desires to communicate
Hebrews 10: 19 - 24
Be obedient in what the Holy Spirit reveals. Keep moving.

Access to the Holy of Holies by our High Priest Jesus

Stern Warnings

Backward steps are difficult to recover from and even impossible in some cases
Hebrews 5: 11 - 14

If you are not growing -- not responding to God, you are headed back to the wilderness.
