Lets talk about this.... This is not discipline, its shepherding, gently keeping you on the path
How are you? Your ministry? Investing your life? For what purpose? Are you growing?

Deep understanding of grace and unbelievable resources for us to draw on – Eph 1:3 – 6, 17 – 20

Then he gauntlet slayed down in chapter 4 walk worthy – And 4:17

B. Overview
No longer live as the Gentiles Living in the dark... a continual lusting for more. More what?
Ephesians 4: 17 – 19 But you were taught the truth that is in Jesus [Col 1:27 Christ in you]

C. Put off your old self
Ephesians 4:22 – 24 You just need a practical reminder

They give us hope… and hope for others

Neve warned... the ferocious battle involved in putting off and putting on

Set up camp in Romans chapter six, 12:1 – 2 and Galatians 2:20, 5: 22 - 25

Be very careful about indulging anther’s complaining and their refusal to put off the old self… [Romans 13:15 NKJ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh…

The beauty of difficult circumstances...
Anger, depression, anxiousness, unsatisfied desires, criticalness are common in this place…
It needs to die not be soothed
Warning: Repentance and perseverance required Philippians 2:12 – 13
Light - John 8:12, 1 John 1:5 - 10

Remember pattern of sin... like old shoes, The old self fits us perfectly, comfortable, miserable

D. Put on the new self
Romans 6:1 – 11 Identification is not just to resist sin but to access the exhaustive resources of Christ
To choose Life!
