John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Theme of Romans: Gospel of Christ (1:16)

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
a. Urging fellow believers yet firmly
b. From chapter 1- 11 ( Therefore... content)
1. Whole World is Guilty before God
2. Justification by Faith in Christ crucified
3. Sanctification (indwelling sin and gospel remedy)
4. Results of Gospel (son and a heir)
5. Features and future of Israel (in covenants and salvation)

Mercies of God:
1. He chosen us first (John 15:16)
2. He loved us (John 3:16)
3. He gave himself for us (John 3:16, Romans 5:8)
4. Redeemed us
5. Christ propitiation for our sins (Rom 10:4 Christ is end of Law)
6. Christ is our Righteousness (1cor 1:30)
7. Justified us (Rom 8:1)

1. Present your Body
(Temple of Holy Spirit, Bought with price, Glorify God in our mortal bodies)

1Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Cor 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1Cor 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
a. Living Sacrifice (John the Baptist a burning and shining light)

- Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
- Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
- 1John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

c. Acceptable: Sacrifice must be acceptable like Abel. It is only by Grace, faith and in Christ alone

c. Be renewed

3. Present your will (align our will with will of God)
a. Prove what is Good
b. Prove what is acceptable
c. Prove what is perfect
