A. Review / Intro - Loving God

1 Samuel 2:35
I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before My anointed one always.

When nothing competes with God and we are motivated by love:
Live by the new nature, not the old
Faith, believe God and trust Him fully

B. Is Faith in the Mood of Your Soul?

At your salvation you understood that there was nothing good in you.

Romans 3
Romans 7: 18
Nothing good in you, and you received grace as one who was powerless and godless.

Galatians 3

We don't just need some help -- we must fully depend on Him.
2 Corinthians 12: 8 - 10

"Humility is the disposition that prepares the soul for living by faith."
We tend to live on the results... we get discouraged.

What was God's cure for Paul's discouragement and Elijah's depression?

We walk by faith, not by sight.

Get back to work Elijah. Get back to work Paul. Get back to work...
Be faithful.

Trust Me, not what you see, and we will walk together in peace and fellowship.

Every deed and and attitude and disposition of our life is to be full of faith.

C. Depending Fully on God
